PROJECT UPDATE: Lawrence Hope Squad
Lawrence Hope Squad, a group of students and faculty who are trained to support students in need of someone with whom to talk. Hope Squad is a peer-to-peer suicide prevention program where the Hope Squad student “advisors” are nominated by their peers and trained.

PROJECT UPDATE: Board Books for Beginning Learners at East Falmouth Elementary School
In order to provide a more equitable experience to all East Falmouth Elementary School students when they are in the library this grant provided 24 new diverse board books, all purchased through Eight Cousins Books, that can be borrowed by students to enjoy at home.
PROJECT UPDATE: Mini Boats Project: Woods Hole Partnership Drifters, Data, and Ocean Study
Falmouth High School worked together to repair and remodel three mini-boats that were donated to FPS. The boats were launched along with drifters to monitor the wind and ocean current patterns in Cape Cod Bay to determine likely landing locations for cold-stunned turtles.

The Makerspace at East Falmouth library is colorful and welcoming. The commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion is visible from every angle. The Makerspace enrichment class yielded enthusiastic and charming young students, eager to delve into Perler Beads and the Marble Run.

PROJECT UPDATE: Morse Pond Math Team
The Math team enjoyed exploring hands-on STEM concepts and participating in the Math Olympiad for Elementary Students contest. Each week the students would work in teams to explore many STEM concepts.
